Une élégante chambre: {Part 1}

I was looking at the poll today and I started laughing. "Haha, look at this Julianna!" The votes are almost all equal. So now I have no idea what to post about...but I guess that's a good thing that the votes are almost equal because then I can pretty much post about all of that stuff, and my darling readers will not mind a bit. :)

But today...I want to show you photos of mes chambres de rêve!! <3 For those of you who don't speak Français, I wrote "my dream bedrooms". ;) My chéri  parents have decided to allow me the privalege of re-doing my bedroom. Right now, it's tout à fait charmant but I am just the type of person who likes change! Ok. I could keep on rambling about this, but I think you would like to see photos, right?! So without further ado, here are photos of my favorite ways in which to get my room re-done.

Ok, so this is a photo to mainly show the spiral staircase! I am not at all fond of the bed itself. haha! XD  But anyway, I would love to have a spiral staircase in my bedroom!!! <3 We have 3 total in our home as of now, but I would LOVE one in my room. LOVE it.

This photo is also to show the spiral staircase, but I also love the chic of the room as well! It looks as if the staircase is leading up into a curtained loft! <3 ahhh!

My physical therapist (and my mom) said that if I get a spiral staircase in my room, I would need a slide like this to get down. She (my PT) said that if I tried to walk down the spiral staircase, I would probably fall. I told her that I walk up our spiral staircases all the time, so she said "Ok, well, whatever you say!" hahaha. So if I get a spiral staircase, I'd be walking up it, but using a slide to get down. bahahaha. XD That was our compromise.

What do YOU think? Would you allow the installation of a spiral staircase in YOUR bedroom? What bedroom photo do you like the most?

Visit Miss Paris Chic tomorrow to see Part 2!!!

Je t'aimemes lecteurs belleset j'espère que vous avez une journée fantastique! :)

PS. I am not going to translate that closing sentence! ;D You can try to figure it out, or check a translator, ok?! hehe. Maybe you will learn some French from reading my blog so often! :D

little women

This evening, Julianna and I had the wonderful privilege of going to see a CYT production of Little Women at Colonial.

We arrived a little after 7:00pm. The show was scheduled to begin sharply at 7:30 pm. I walked in using my crutches, but without my leg braces because, to be honest, I wanted to make a good first impression with Elisha and her friends/siblings. Bad mistake. My legs were super weak that night, and Julianna had to walk carefully beside me to make sure I didn't trip. My embarrassing story for the night? Ehh. Maybe later. ;) Anyways...

This super hot guy comes up to Julianna and he unintentionally pulls her away from me as we are about to walk up the stairs to some available seats. So there I am kind of struggling to get my legs up on the stairs and at the same time, hold my crutches and not fall down. I make it up like 2 stairs, and then I kind of trip over this other pretty hot dude in slow-mow. XD You can imagine the redness of my face. There I was practically leaned up against him, and then he helps me up the rest of the stairs to my seat, while asking if I was ok. I think he thought I had knee surgery. bahaha.

Finally, Julianna comes up and finds me. She is quite surprised that I made it up those stairs without her assistance. I tell her the embarrassing story and she laughs. I laugh too. Oh my. haha.

Show starts promptly at 7:30. We immediately get ingrossed in the story. At this time, my favorite character is Jo March. What a drama queen she was!

The first act ends after a while, and the house lights come up for intermission. I go out to the car with Julianna and we do stuff that takes about 5-10 minutes. Then we come back inside and get in line for the concessions. I ordered a kit-kat bar and some soda. YUM. We sat down to eat, but then got up to go put the letter for Elisha in the bathroom, so that incase we didn't get a chance to see her in person, she'd have a hand-held thing from me. :) We had discussed that creative plan over email. ;) teehee. So after we put the letter in the bathroom, we go back into the cafe to finish our food.

The whole time, I am searching the crowd for Elisha. I see many Elisha possiblities, but am too afraid to go up to them and ask if they're her. People stare at Julianna and I a lot. My guess is that we are either too dressed up...or they've never seen a girl with crutches before. C'mon now, we're from France! We enjoy dressing up and being chic and schnazzy! :) Oh! It was really cool for me because as Julianna and I are sitting and enjoying our candy, we see this cute little girl who uses a walker and has a difficulty walking. My first thought was, "Hey, I wonder if she has SB?!" And Julianna whispered, "Celli, that little girl looks a lot like you when she walks!" Great minds think alike. haha. =D I never found out if she had SB like me, but we made a hypothesis (educated guess). :)

On our way back in, Julianna walked by one of our Elisha possiblities. After we were seated, she told me that she was wearing denim leggings, and that's all she noticed. Yeah...Julianna isn't very observant. The second act begins, and I start to feel bummed because I didn't get to meet Elisha during intermission. =\ But I soon get all into the second act, and forget about it.

FINALLY, the production was over. My favorite parts were when Jo was with Laurie, and they were running around, and Jo tripped just as Meg walked in with her boyfriend. XD I could totally see myself in Jo's shoes at that moment. I just wish that Beth hadn't died, and I wish that Laurie could have been the husband of Jo instead of Amy. Laurie and Amy just didn't go together. At least in my opinion.

It took me a while to get back down the stairs, so by the time I got down, the cast had come out! I was all surprised because usually when I go to see a production, the cast stays hidden. But no, this cast came out and let people get autographs! So Julianna went around and got some autographs for me, while I sat down. My legs were worn out. We stayed for about 10 minutes getting autographs, and then we had to leave.

I didn't get to see Elisha.

But as we were driving home in the car, I thought, "Well at least she will have my letter, and we probably saw each other, but didn't know it was!"

I hope Elisha had as great a time as I did. She is such a sweet person. I am glad that she is my friend...even if we haven't met in person. <3

Goodnight!

marcelle.
PS. If this post sounds like a bunch of rambling, please excuse me. It's 2:30 am and I am exhausted. :P

short and sweet

I can hardly wait for tomorrow!!! It is the day in which I will meet my new blog buddy, Elisha. I will not get a bit of sleep tonight. I will not be able to concentrate on studies all morning. I will probably pass out when I finally see her. haha. Just kidding. But nonetheless, darlings, I'm very excited.

Oh yes, you must know that our family (minus our eldest sister) arrived in the States today! It's quite different from Paris. I'm way too excited about meeting Elisha tomorrow, that the time change is hardly affecting me. ;) My mum, Julianna, and I are staying with our father in a gorgeous and luxurious hotel, not too far away from the Colonial, I don't believe. Along with seeing Little Women tomorrow, we have other great adventures up our sleeves. ;)

Well, that is all for today.

Excitement rising inside of moi...

marcelle.

To meet a darling

I'm vraiment excité (really excited) right now!!! I have a possible chance to meet a fellow blogger. Yes. I can hardly believe this.

I haven't even been following the darling elisha for a very long time. I had just created my blog, and gotten my first follower. So I went blog hopping. My blog hopping led me to The Official Blog of Elisha. I thought her blog was beautiful at first sight! I immediately began reading her newest posts, plus MANY of her old ones. I decided to click the GFC button, which would allow me to publicly follow elisha's blog. Such a great decision I made. I began to comment on her posts. One day, I went to my own blog and realized that she had seen my comments on her posts, and had commented on mine! I got all excited inside. I responded to her comments right away, and sent her an email because, after reading some of her older posts, I discovered that she was a resident of North Carolina, in the States.

In my email to her, I told her that my sister, Julianna and I would be accompanying our father on one of his numerous business trips to NC. We were considering attending Little Women - a theatre performance in Raleigh. I would be overjoyed to get to meet her!

Not expecting such a rapid response, I checked my blog once again. Elisha had commented saying that she had received my email, and was awaiting my reply! I could have jumped. I hurridly typed in "gmail" and my email inbox came up. Elisha's email was waiting for me. I clicked on it and almost screamed! I would share the content with you, but that would be weird for me because I never share other people's emails. :) But you can imagine my excitement and thrill.

She said that she would love to meet me. She said that she is coming to Little Women in NC. She said that she is actually a PART of the theatre company which will perform Little Women. She told me how excited she was!

I quickly responded and attached a photo of Julianna and a photo of myself, so that she would be able to find us in the midst of all the people attending Little Women. Note: I don't usually send photos of myself! If you ask me to, I most likely will not. Only on certain conditions.

At this moment of time, I eagerly await elisha's response. I am so glad I met elisha online. I cannot wait to meet elisha in person.

a girls night out

Good day, my sweets! I am going to post photos that me, Julianna, and our friend took while we were doing our regular botique admiring. But I shall begin this post starting from the beginning of our day.

On Saturday morning, Julianna still had to go to work (yes, she has a job!), but she did not have to work as long as she does during the week days. So we thought that it would be fun to look around at some of the shoppes afterwards! Julianna's beautiful friend would come with us because she had spent the night over at our house the night before. Since Julianna had to be at work by 6:15 am, she got up early and headed off to work before me and Angelise were even awake! When we both finally awoke, we were hungry. haha. So I sat up and, with the help of sweet Angelise, got off of my bed and made my way to my walker. We both walked to the elevator and I pushed the button to go down to the kitchen. For breakfast, we ate croissants - a favorite of ours. :) After breakfast, I went upstairs to the exercise room to do my daily exercises, while Angelise watched carefully. She's so funny. I have never had so many questions in my life. xD But after breakfast, and exercising and stuff like that, Angelise and I got to play some board and card games while we waited for Julianna to call, saying that she was done with work for the day. We assumed that she would be done with work by about 3:30 pm, so around 2:45 pm, we decided that it was time to get our of our pj's and get ready for our night out! :D So back upstairs we went (this time, I used the stairs because mum wants me to try and use them as much as I can so that I don't get weak). I picked out a cute shirt and colored skinny jeans (so that my leg braces could fit over them), and Angelise pulled a tank top and white shorts out of her suitcase. We looked fab. Then Angelise offered to put on my braces and shoes. I already felt like she had done enough for me already, so I didn't want her to have to do that! Not that I would have minded, but I just didn't want Angelise to feel like she had to do everything since Julianna wasn't there. Luckily, my mum came in, and she did it for me. THANK YOU MUM! :D teehee.{Readers, do you think I should let Angelise put my braces on next time? If you were in her place, how would you feel?}

FINALLY, we were off! We still hadn't gotten a call from Julianna, but we just laughed and figured that she forgot. xD I hopped into my wheelchair and flew out the door with Angelise on my heels. Hopefully by now she knows that I like to go FAST in my wheelchair... ;) The little bakery that my sister works in is only walking distance from where we live, so we were there in less than 5 minutes. The first thing she said when she saw us is: "Goodness, darlings! What took you such a long time?!" Angelise and I burst out laughing! :D "Honey, you forgot to call us!" Angelise said through her laughter, "You're lucky we actually got here when we did!" xD And we all started laughing. haha. Julianna pushed my wheelchair and Angelise walked beside us. We were having a girls night out.

So...on to the photos. :)

Ok, so Julianna was "play teasing" me about liking this frog.
Well I think she's adorable. teehee.
And I bet Julianna secretly likes her, too. ;)

I would LOVE a skirt in this fabric!

If only I could wear these shoes. <3
I can't wear them because...
1. I would surely fall over.
If I can't keep my balance in tennis shoes,
these would surely be the death of me. xD haha.
2. My braces won't fit inside them. :(

This explains me and Julianna perfectly. <3

Colorful! I could wear that... :)

Oh how I wish my therapy could be this instead of what it is. :P
I'm pretending that these drinks are lemonade...
and orange juice...
and sparkling water.
NOT wine or beer. Ok? Ok.
I'm way to young to be drinking stuff like that.

Shoes...that I will never be able to wear. :(
Such beauties!

I loved this store. Just saying.

YUM! This is from Julianna's bakery.

Same with this...

...and these :)

This...is going on my future car. ;D

ahhhh! This is a crazy picture of me.
1. My hair isn't straightened. I didn't feel like doing it this morning. :P
2. I am wearing one too many hats.
Julianna put on the weird black hat thing, and then Angelise threw on
the huge pink one! It's not even situated on me correctly!
As you can probably tell...it's covering my face in the front. :P
I.look.crazy.

Cute!

This is a much better picture of me.
I'm sitting in my wheelchair... ;)
JUST KIDDING!!! Did any of you actually believe me?
This is just a model in France.
I would die if I looked this elegant.

I'd wear this dress!
Glamorous!
Stack of hats. Thank goodness they aren't on my head. xD

This photo says it all.
Miraculeaux!

After our girls night out, we all went home and had another sleepover. :D We brought Angelise to church with us the next day.

Oh! And here is a picture that Julianna just sent me.

This is the gorgeous Angelise. <3 I love her so much!
If you are wondering why there is not a picture of Julianna here, it's because the pictures of her are on her blog. :)
Check it out!
Je t'aime,
marcelle

My sister has also decided to start a blog.
You can find Julianna Danielle right here!

I'm not going to make this post just another "About Moi" post, so if you would like to know about me before you start reading my blog, go right on up to that tab.
Before you know it, you will know so much about me that you'll feel like you've known me forever. ;) hehe.

Today I guess I will post SOME things about me...like I said, not another "About Moi"...but just a preview, I guess. haha.

PS. Do you like when I use French words in my posts?
I can stop if it's annoying. I know most English on account of living in the States for a little while. :)
But that's another story... :) hehe.
